This season, I’ve been relying on my faithful Isola Lumiére du Soir: Evening Glow Facial Oil. I have extremely sensitive skin, which means that a day with bitter cold, too much wind, too much sunshine or too much of anything can make my skin feel tight, show redness and look uneven. Fortunately, my dedication to using the Isola Lumiére du Soir facial oil has paid off over the years and my skin’s immunity to the elements has been boosted by all of the rich antioxidants and vitamins in the oil.

All of our facial oils are created to be low on the comedogenic value scale. This means that they are lightweight, easy for the skin to absorb, and non-pore-clogging. Essentially, they don’t cause the skin to suffocate or break out, and they’re not greasy.

The Lumière du Soir: Evening Glow Facial Oil is a true gem in our Fountain of Youth collection. It was a meticulous process, determining the best herbs and oils to combine for the ultimate night time glow remedy, and we settled on organic grape seed oil, which has a comedogenic value of 0-1, and it credited for reducing inflammation and redness, and replenishing the skin with natural Vitamin E. We infused organic rose flower and organic dehydrated orange and blood orange, both rich in Vitamin C, and home-grown thyme: an anti-microbial herb that helps to fight acne and calm the skin. We then turned to beautiful hibiscus flower, also known as the ‘botox flower’, for its skin-plumping and natural glow-activating properties.

Our key ingredient, present in all of our skincare and haircare products is sustainably-harvested Pacific coast sea kelp: a true fountain of youth ingredient, right in anti-oxidants, it includes phenols, Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, C, E, K, and the minerals of Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorous, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc.

We carefully measure the right amount of seed oils from sea buckthorn seed and rosehip seed, and balance their rich properties with nourishing evening primrose, argon, jojoba, castor, sweet almond and coconut oils.

Isola Lumiére du Soir: Evening Glow Facial Oil is available in two sizes: 1oz (30ml), which typically lasts 2-3 months with daily use, and 2oz (60ml), lasting 5-6 months with daily use.
